Rules for getting a vhost accepted on the FnNuts IRC network.
We recently added a new service to this network with the complete help of Doa. This host service allows one to request a vhost and then if this vhost is accepted by the staff then the vhost can be turned on by typing /msg H on
There are a few other commands that can be used on H.
Text inside <> has to be typed without including the <>
Mostly help can be gained by typing, /msg H help <command name>
For any help, please join #FnNuts.
-- RULES ARE --
- No IP vhosts, or IP look-a-likes.
- No resolving vhosts. (basically means no vhosts that point to an IP, e.g. google.com, rizon.net, etc.)
- No vhosts that mimic government organizations. (e.g. *.gov, *.gc.ca, FBI, etc.) / No impersonating private organizations which have government affiliation (MPAA, RIAA, etc.)
- No vhosts that contain the words forum, ircop, admin, network, or any IRCop's nick.
- You are only allowed to change your vhost once every 7 days. Spamming the system with frequent requests will result in a ban from the vhost system.
